About Tacoma WA Tree Service
We're a locally owned tree company serving Tacoma and the surrounding Pierce County area since 2014. Not a franchise, not a lead broker, just a working crew with a chipper truck, a stump grinder and a decade-plus of local trees behind us.
Our lead climber Marcus spent eight years on utility line-clearance crews around the Sound before joining us, which is why power-line adjacent jobs that scare other outfits are a normal Tuesday here. Teo runs our pruning work and came up through orchard country in Yakima. Rosa runs the office, the schedule and, frankly, the two of them.
With so many tree companies around here, Family Tree Care, Apex Tree Experts, Evergreen Tree Care, Washington Tree & Lawn Care, the big national names like Davey, we understand how hard it is to pick one. Our pitch is simple: we show up when we said, the price is the price we quoted, and the yard is cleaner when we leave than when we came. Give us one job and see.
Services Offered
Tree removal, emergency and storm damage response, tree trimming, tree pruning, stump grinding and stump removal, certified arborist assessments and written reports, tree health care and fertilization, dead tree removal, land and lot clearing, tree planting, and commercial tree maintenance. We also handle the smaller stuff that doesn't get its own page: hedge trimming, view trimming, windsail reduction, cabling and bracing for split-prone trunks, wood chip delivery, and bucking storm logs into firewood rounds.
A Note From Dale
I climbed for one of the big outfits for eleven years and got tired of hearing estimators quote removals on trees that needed a $300 prune, so in 2014 I bought a used F-450 and started doing it my way out of my place in South Tacoma. First year it was me, my nephew and a borrowed grinder. The green truck's newer now and there's four of us most days, but the rule hasn't changed: quote what the tree needs, not what the customer will pay. People notice. Most of our work still comes from neighbors talking to neighbors, which is how I like it.
